This set of two hand-painted ceramic bowls is crafted in Tonalá, Jalisco using traditional barro petatillo and filigrana techniques. Each bowl features a hand-painted fish motif, symbolizing abundance and continuity in Mexican folk art.

Made by the Aguirre family, a multigenerational family of artisans, these bowls are burnished and painted entirely by hand using ancestral methods passed down for generations. The intricate petatillo pattern and fine filigrana detailing make each piece unique.

Functional yet decorative, these bowls are ideal for soups, salads, side dishes, or as statement pieces on open shelving or a dining table. No two bowls are exactly alike, celebrating the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
