This artisan coffee cup is handcrafted in Tonalá, Jalisco — one of Mexico's most celebrated centers of ceramic production — using burnished clay and natural pigments. The technique is traditional: the clay is shaped by hand, burnished to a smooth matte surface, then sealed with beeswax for natural water-resistance. No glaze, no kiln coating. Just clay, pigment, and beeswax, the way it's been done in this region for centuries.
Made by master potter Ángel Santos, with contemporary design direction by Vibani Rodríguez. Lead-free, cadmium-free, and made to be used daily.
